You can use the cPanel file manager or a variety of FTP clients to upload files to your account.

An excellent, free FTP client is FileZilla. FileZilla is open source and can be downloaded for a number of platforms: http://filezilla-project.org/

To configure your FTP client, use the following settings:

hostname: ftp.yourdomain.com

Port: 21

username and password: Use your cPanel login details

You may need to toggle Passive Mode if you are unable to connect.
